Last week.....

Carson and Kylie love to help Kyle and I, with any projects that we need to get done. Kyle bought a planter box to start our garden indoors. He let the kids take turns placing the seeds in each little cup of dirt. They loved it. Here are some pictures of all three kids dressed up for church. It is so much work to get us all dressed and fed, and out the door by 8:45......all by myself. By the time we get there, I am ready to go home and take a nap! It is worth it though, they love to go to nursery. It is amazing that they remember what they learn each day too. I always ask them what their lesson was about on the way home, and they do tell me. They also tell me about all the toys they played with. Church goes by really fast for Alexis, since she sleeps through the majority of it.
Here is Kylie and Carson on one of their first trips in their new car.......I guess they approve of it!

yesterday we did some yard work. The weather was so nice! Carson and Kylie drove around their tractor. Kylie just about got ran over by her brother, and it looks like Chloe is next! Lexi was right there too, doing what she does best =0)!Finally, here are some pictures of Alexis snuggling with her big brother and sister right before bed time. They love to give her hugs before they go to bed, and I can tell that she doesn't mind it either!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

We all made sure to wear our green yesterday! We went out for some corn beef and cabbage with my parents. My mom bought the kids some cute presents. They loved the silly string. My mom hid around the corner and blasted Kyle and I with it. Poor Alexis even got hit with some. The kids thought it was pretty funny!

choo, choo trains & Chuck E. Cheese

This past weekend, Kylie and Carson spent the night with my parents. My dad was getting ready to come over to help Kyle with some yard work, and my mom asked if I could send the kids back with him. They were excited to go, and I of course miss them like crazy when they are gone! Kyle and I did enjoy a night out with Alexis. We went to dinner, and did some shopping for a DVD player for our car. My parents took the kids to see some trains.........Carson loves trains. We are all taking them on an Easter train ride next month. I know they will just love it! Kyle also downloaded some pictures that had been on my mom's camera for a long time. I couldn't believe how much Kylie and Carson have grown, since those pictures were taken. you don't realize how big they are, until you see them up close! my handsome little guy my precious princess & grandpa We also took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese last week. They had a blast! They were scared of the characters, but I thought they were scary too. Who ever thought of those crazy looking things? The pizza is not the greatest either, but kids sure do love that place!

Lexi's first trip, and she never even knew she was there. She can sleep through anything!

Carson and Kylie's favorite game was shooting water at the target, and racing eachother.....look at how focused they were!

a ride on the monster truck terrified them......especially Carson =) Kyle and I thought it was hilarious, how mean are we? We laughed, while they cried!

Feeling the Love

Little miss Alexis must be feeling pretty special, with all of the visitors that have come to see her! My grandma, nana and daddy Juan drove all the way from California just to see her. They have been close family friends, since before I was born. They also babysat me for quite a long time. They are like family to us, and treat my kids as if they were their own grandkids. My grandma brought gifts for all three of our kids, and that really made Carson and Kylie extra happy. We had a great visit with them, and as always, the time went by too fast!My nana is hilarious, and we all were able to have a girl's night out to our monthly bunco party (grandma beat us all!). Here are some pictures of their visit.......... ............................................................
Here is Carson and Kylie, holding Lexi. Lexi was all dressed up for her first picture day!

The twins and daddy Juan playing with their frog game. I think he enjoyed the game just as much a they did!

After they left, we drove to Utah to visit with some more good friends. Melanie and I have been friends since kindergarten. We felt old, when we were counting how many years that we have known eachother! She is such a wonderful friend, and she has had a rough month! It felt so great to see her with a big smile, and her spirits up. I have always loved spending time with her family. They are all soooo funny! You can't be around them and be in a bad mood, it is just not possible! I love her so much, and really wish we could see eachother more often. It was so fun to watch our kids play together. I bet we never thought that would happen, back in our kindergarten days!he.he. Love you Mel!!!!!!
Kyle's friend Mike was also in town that weekend. He lived in New Mexico, and he and Kyle served their missions together in California. His wife had called us last week and told us that she was having him a surprise party in Utah at Cabella's, and thought she would let us know. She knew we probably wouldn't make it, since we just had a baby. Kyle and I thought it would be great to surprise him at his party. He has been a great friend to Kyle, and has done a lot for him. We thought it would be a great way to show we care. It was a great time, and we even talked Melanie's parents into crashing the party with us! They also knew Mike, while he was on his mission..............I think Roger (her dad) was the ward mission leader.

squeaky clean

Yesterday was Alexis' first bath. We had to wait for her little cord thing to come off, so she has been having sponge baths up until now. She was so relaxed for the bath. She enjoyed the warm water, and looked very comfortable. She is a very laid back baby. I think she has more of my personality( right now anyway). The only time she gets fussy is when she is hungry(just like me). I expected her to get cranky in the bath, but she was pretty content with the whole thing. I had to snuggle with her for a while after........nothing beats the smell of a clean little baby with Johnson & Johnson's pink lotion!

she even liked the way the water tasted!

Here she is, hanging out with her big brother and sister.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

We spent this Valentine's Day with our three little sweethearts. It was a nice day. Both sets of grandparents came by for a visit, which made it extra special. We celebrated by having heart shaped donuts (thanks to grandma and grandpa), and a heart shaped pizza for lunch. The kids loved opening up some little presents, and playing for most of the day. We are still celebrating the birth of our little Alexis, and still can't stop staring at her! We feel so blessed. Kylie and Carson are doing wonderful with their baby sister. They love to help get diapers, wipes, cream and her pacifier...........especially Kylie. They do not act jealous in any way, and actually seem to have matured a little by her being here. I am sooo proud of them! Lexi has so far been such a good little baby, she hardly ever cries. She does make some really funny noises. She sounds like a sheep sometimes. It is really cute.
Here is Alexis in her Valentine's Day outfit

Carson wih his box of chocolates. That is what makes him happy..........candy, and cars. Pretty simple!Kylie's favorite gifts were the stickers, and her new p.j's

Happy Birthday Lexi!!

We welcomed Alexis Brielle on February 6th! She weighed 8lbs, 8oz and was born at 8:00 am.........lots of eight's! We are so relieved, that her and I are both fine and healthy. I am still a little sore, but getting around pretty well. She is such a blessing, and we are extremely grateful to have her in our family. She is a beautiful little princess, and we can't stop staring at her. It is just amazing! We had such a great experience at the hospital again. It is the same place that we had the twins. The nurses and doctors are so good at calming our nerves, and helping us to feel at home.
Carson and Kylie have been staying with my parents since last Thursday. I am so grateful to my mom and dad, and their willingness to help us all the time. It was comforting to know that they were so well taken care of, and having a great time. Kyle was able to stay by my side the entire time, because of them. They brought the kids to the hospital to see us each day.Carson and Kylie liked kissing on their new sister, and helping to get her blankets and pacifiers. Lexi, Kyle and I just got home yesterday, and we will be picking up the kids tomorrow. My parents kept them an extra day to give me some more healing time. We are excited to get them home, and to watch them play with their baby. We really missed them!
One last picture of my tummy, just as we were getting ready to head over to the hospital
Ready to meet our baby girl!!!!!! Who knew that Kyle could make scrubs look so good=0)
There's our little Alexis.......I guess 81/2lbs isn't too little!
beautiful flowers from Daddy, daddy's work, and bishop
I had waited a long time for this moment!
Here is one exhausted daddy. He handled everything so well, and was such a big help!
Visit with our little munchkins. Carson was trying to figure out how that remote worked. At least he didn't flip me out of the bed with it!
It doesn't get cuter than that. What a precious moment!

Kylie, finally getting to love on baby sister.

Our celebration dinner..............the hospital food was really good.

On our way out to the car, looking forward to taking our princess home.
